Animated music videos (AMV) are my favorite type. Although A-Ha’s rotoscoped “Take On Me” is the first AMV that I can remember watching (back in the 80s), the genre has been potentially been around since the 1960s. Recently there has been a resurgence in music artists choosing to animate their work as opposed to using actors… And I’m all for it. After recently stumbling upon “Fight Dirty,” I was reminded that I have a huge playlist of other music videos that I occasionally peruse. Feeling selfish, i decide to share a few of my choicest selections with y’all in hopes that we all discover something new to love. Enjoy!
