Only Mr. No One would waste their time like that, or so I thought until I began experimenting with Medium’s mobile-first format called Series.
What’s that? You’ve never heard of Series? I will assume that either you have not previously written on Medium or you are simply like everyone else: unaware. You can learn a bit about the tool’s functionality by following this link, but in a nutshell, Series is an effort by Medium to allow users a unique experience when crafting stories. With millions of daily readers, I think it is forward-thinking of the publishing service to understand that some people prefer to do things differently. Instead of relying those archaic words and sentences that some call stories or books, Series allows users to simply share pictures and videos on cards (or screens) that can be swiped to the left to see what’s next. Unlike traditional writing platforms, Series doesn’t necessarily have to end, allowing for an ongoing Series, if you will.
