How I Accidentally Became a Playwright
Introducing Man in Closet, a 500-word play written by artificial intelligence.
So, some backstory:
My wife and I were recently out at a local, black-owned restaurant when I overheard a man cluelessly share both racist and misogynist views during what seemed to be a sit-down job interview. I originally planned to write about the conversation as it was not only amusing, but potentially insightful. Unfortunately, the post failed to materialize as I had been confused in which way to tell that story. Recently, I finally reached an epiphany and I went to Jasper (formerly Jarvis.ai; affiliate link) just for a little help but left as a fucking playwright.
Artificial Intelligence for Dummies
If you’re unawares, artificial intelligence(AI) is being used to help writers with formulating ideas, increasing the speed of content creation, and draft SEO-optimized work. Unfortunately, some AI-written articles tend to read as if they were written by robots and can be completely unengaging. Soulless, if you want. As time goes on however, AI keeps improving and can indeed be used to write complete content for blogs, video services and more.
I admit that the thought of a program writing my work for me felt like cheating……
